Usually I try to stay out of the political scene cause everyone is too extreme for me but recently CBS refused to air an AD produced by left leaning MoveON.org during the super bowl. I've seen the ad and I thought it was quite good. It doesn't make any out there accusations, and it asks a fair question. What pisses me off is that CBS will be airing ads from the right during the superbowl. We as a country have too quickly given away monopolies to the big media companies. Now we have absolutely no control over the information that is being dumped on us. We have to put our trust in the media companies to adhere to an ethical commitment to "fair and balanced" coverage. Unfortunately CBS has proved that they can not be trusted to maintain the balance. And just for the record I would be just as pissed off if CBS accepted MoveOn's ad but rejected an ad from Bush.
