geek travels

someone must've read my blog cause i got my gmail account. so far it looks pretty cool but its going to take some getting used to. it looks like they are trying to make email more like IM by labeling messages as "conversations". brings me back to the days when my girlfriend and i would send hundreds of emails back and forth in a single day. (yes this was well before aim and even icq hit the scene). gmail makes it super fast to reply to a message by placing the reply box right below the incoming message. haven't used it long enough to see how well it threads but i guess i'll find out. :)
